"Let's just say that I won't be booking this band after the performance I witnessed at the wedding of some lifelong friends of ours last month. It was a memorable set but for all the wrong reasons. The band were ridiculously loud - people weren't able to talk to eachother over the noise and it certainly put them off from dancing. The songs that they played didn't reflect the occasion or the age of the people attending - it seemed that the band were simply saying, 'we enjoy this music. why don't you?' I'm sure they're not bad musicians although I'm not a reliable judge on those sort of things. But you could tell how disappointed the bride was especially, when the dancefloor was virtually empty for a good part of the evening."
